I mean we dont need to gain profit based on only app sales itself. App itself can be a channel for related brand. Brand itself can find targeted audience via the app.However the core is the PRACTICAL APP which can be belonging or related to the each brand at least.
well I think app's traffic and usage should necessary for those though.
For example, we can think of sponsor or any advertisement appearing on favorite soaf opera.
While people are watching the soaf oepra through TV, people can be exposured to the brand name with props or places that is behind of scene by actors.
Likewise, the application can be a soaf opera for brands who want to exposure their own brand name to each well targeted audience if they catch the enormous functional applications.
What if you are the user of mountain related app and you used to perform it during hiking. If the hiking related outdoor brands such as K2 or Northface are the sponsors for those and try to make some tips and recommendation with their brand product for situation.
When users carry the app and pop up helpful tip with product for using it while you are hiking.
That will be much more effectively well targeted ad.
